Recently I heard the quote "A way to a man's heart is through his stomach." It got me thinking that this quote may be true, but I would like to dare, and make an amendment. I would have to say that "A way to a man's heart is through his senses." Let me explain.
Sight: Girls need to look attractive. At times I hear girl's complain that guys aren't asking them out, when they wear zero make-up and wear frumpy clothes. I am not saying we need to be high maintenance or wear expensive clothes. But we should try to look nice. A huge thing we can do to improve our appearances is to smile. How much more attractive is a person who is always smiling and happy?
Hearing: Guys like to have their confidence built (or egos stroked if you will). They also love to make their partners happy. So praise them and tell them that they are amazing and that you had a great time. (Don't say things that are insincere, but look for the positive and tell them.) It builds them up and makes them feel like what they are doing is worth it. Also always try to be positive and to speak well of others. Negative people are never fun to be around.
Taste: This is where your Molly skills needs to be put to work. Bust out some amazing cinnamon rolls. I have recently learned that the scent of cinnamon will create romantic inclinations in men.
Scent: Smell good ladies. A few spritzes of perfume before you leave the house will definitely put you up a few notches.
Touch: YES PLEASE!!!! Guys like to be touched. A little hand on the shoulder really let's a man know that you are interested. Being a good kisser probably wouldn't hurt either. (Not that I would have any clue about this one, but one doesn't need to be experienced to be knowledgeable.) :)
I hope this isn't taken as nonsensical advice from a 25 year old girl who has never had a boyfriend. I am by no means an expert at these. Around guys I like I am often seen stumbling over words or knocking things off tables. However, being single at the age of 25, I think, has helped me to better perfect my knowledge of this topic. Take it for what it's worth.
