Quick Blurb

Just a quick blurb on something I have been pondering on and have received my own personal answer for. Can the Spirit dwell with a person when they are (by no choice of their own) in an environment where the Spirit can't dwell?

I have thought about this question as 3 days a week for the past 2 years, I have entered a house that is so vile and wicked that the Spirit could never reside within its walls. However, I believe that as I work within the recesses of that abominable house, that I have had the Spirit with me every step of the way. For I have received many answers to the silent prayers I have said in behalf of the kids there.

I believe that even in that dark and dreary house that I can still be guided by the Spirit. I also believe that the Lord's spirit is with the children also. In my opinion those children could not be the resilient and strong children they are today if the Lord was not strengthening them every minute of every day.

I am so deeply grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost and that I am able to be comforted and led by it even in the worst of circumstances. I am also grateful for the spirit of the Lord and how he can help and strengthen each and every one of his children.

Ah, yes, the Spirit can dwell in holy places and one's temple (soul) can qualify as such a place.

It's important to think pure thoughts when in less than desirable circumstances!
