The Next Stage

I have been writing and rewriting this many times to get it to say exactly what I want it to say, without making it seem too light, and also remaining positive.

So here is the update on the life of Katy. I am moving to Utah....and soon. I started receiving small impressions to move back in October. Then as I started to pray and fast about it the impressions came stronger and more often. I made my decision, received a blessing and have been waiting for the right timing and for some doors to open in securing a job.

I will more than likely be working the same job with my sister, working for my stepmom's dad. They are just waiting for a position for me, and then I am gone. I am not quite sure when this will be but I am guessing around the end of January to middle of February. Emily Richards will be taking my spot in my house.

This decision would NEVER be one I would choose for myself. I 100% believe that the Lord's hand is in this. This is not to say that it will be easy for me. Being out of my comfort zone has always been a struggle for me, and I know that this move will not happen without some hard times and adjustments. However, I know that the Lord has some great things in store for me. I just have to trust in Him, and I do. That is why I am following through with this great leap of faith.

I will miss you all more than you will ever know. Your friendships have been irreplaceable, and have helped mold me into who I am today. I will not leave Idaho Falls in the same state that I arrived. You have all made deep impressions upon me, and I shall take with me the souvenirs of unforgettable memories! And as the sun sets for me in Idaho Falls, I know that I shall be waking up to a bright new morning in Utah. The next stage of my life is upon me, and I am so excited for it! :)

I am selfish, so I am going to pray that you don't leave until mid February, after my mission farewell. :) ok, so I won't pray for that...I will just hope really hard :)
